But they do other things as well... this is not another rant at how inconsiderate people are on public transport, I got over that now.
I'd like to write about two episodes that happened to me while on the bus. Two weeks ago (I know it's been a while since I wrote something!) my husband and I went with E dressed as little Santa, Sindy and my mum to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. It was great! E loved it even though he's only 4 months old now. He liked the lights, I assume, and the festive music. When we were on our way back home, E started crying cause he doesn't like the bus so my husband took him in his arms and was trying to calm him down. I was sitting near this guy who was listening to music on his phone. When the seat where my husband was sitting became vacant I went to sit down next to him. And this guy, whom I was sitting next to, apparently took a photo of E. Another man called me and told me about it. I asked him whether it was true and he said yes, I saw the photo and it was a very bad one, quite blurry too, so I said there's no need for him to delete it. Thinking about it afterwards I thought maybe I should have asked him to delete it since he had the opportunity to ask me whether I minded if he took the photo or not.
On another occassion I was sitting on the bus next to E in his pushchair when this lady came on board and was standing next to E. At some point she lost her balance and fell on the pushchair squashing the pushchair hood on Euan's head. I stood up immediately and pushed her away. E was sleeping at the time and he didn't move. I tried to wake him up to no avail. Finally after shaking him for a few minutes he looked at me and fell to sleep again. Seeing this, the lady went off the bus on the next bus stop!!!
