Hiccups and Travel Systems

Friday, 8 May 2009 18:17 by Mari

This morning I woke up to the baby making sudden movements. I had read before that they can get hiccups at this time but I never thought it would be so funny watching my tummy dancing to a rhythm!

Baby is quite active these days and I can feel him doing backflips and what not at any time during the day and night especially when I lie on my back in bed.

Went to antenatal pilates this afternoon and stayed for a drink after class at the gym.  It was quite good to speak to other mums-to-be about what bothers us most.  A topic which came up was what pushchair to buy. Hubby and I've been thinking about this for a while now and have decided that we want a 3 in 1 travel system which consists of a pushchair, pram and a car seat.  Also, having a bad back, I would probably go for the lightest model on the market.

This lady had the same priorities (although she got a fixed car seat) and she bought a stroller in the Bugaboo range.

I had a look and these look trendy, have a space where you can store your shopping and they are one of the lightest models on the market.  This is the one I liked best it's the Bugaboo Cameleon Base Unit and Carrycot for 3 in 1 travel system.  The more I read reviews about it the more I like it. It comes in a variety of colours (I love the denim one) and as with most pushchairs it comes with plenty of option accessories.

So we intend to go and have a look at some of their models.

These all come in the Bugagboo Cameleon set:

  • Seat/Bassinet frame
  • Seat fabric
  • Bassinet fabric
  • Multi-use Carry Handle, compatible with bassinet and seat

  • DVD and user guide

Thank you for your comment. We did get the iCandy Cherry in the end and so far so good. We've been using it for a year now. I have looked up Chicco Cortina and it looks very comfortable too!
