Johnson’s Launch New Skin Perfecting Oil to Help Improve Stretch Marks

Becoming a mum is a wonderful experience because you can celebrate the arrival of a beautiful bundle of joy but the experts at Johnson understand that it can change your body. Research has revealed that 70% of new mums suffer from stretch marks which can affect self-esteem and many believe that expensive surgical procedures are the only treatment available.

But other options are on hand and Johnson’s new skin perfecting oil is clinically proven to show a visible improvement to stretch marks in just four weeks. Just in time for the summer season, perfect!

The oil comes in a handy spray bottle which helps to make it easy to apply and rub into the body and contains a unique blend of ingredients such as Sweet almond Oil and Vitamin E which moisturises and soothes skin to make it soft and supple. So not only will you look great but you will also smell lovely too.

Four normal, typical UK mums were asked to test the product over the course of four weeks; and you can follow their progress on the Johnsons Beauty YouTube Channel. One of the mums, Sam, wanted to reduce her stretch marks so she could get into a bikini for her holiday for Brisbane; and you can see how she got on here. Remember, this could be you too!  For more information on Johnson’s and their brands, visit the site at johnsonsbeauty.co.uk today. Music in the Womb

Sunday, 17 May 2009 13:50 by Mari

I am getting quite tired lately. So after whinging how I'm going to cope during the upcoming 3 months, I sat on the sofa, laptop on my thighs, my legs resting on a stool. Aerosmith playing in the background, a perfect moment to relax I thought.

Until I felt a lot of movement in my belly. Great, he likes Aerosmith - Jaded. Let him rock! And as the music stopped, the movement stopped as well. This made me curious.

Chatting to my friend Liri, who is a pyschology grad, later that night I mentioned this to her and as she wrote her thesis on this subject she knew quite a bit about it.

It was then that I was introduced to the Mozart effect. This study shows that listening to classical music while pregnant makes the baby smarter and calms him/her down. Although the making the baby smarter part is not proved a 100%, it definitely soothes the baby.  In fact mums-to-be who listen to rock music feel more vigorous kicks from their baby. Aha! That's why then. So I think from now on I'm going to switch to classical music. Singing nursery rhymes also keeps the baby calm. (Tried and tested by me :) )

Here is more information about Mozart effect.

I got these CD's from Amazon. They are a very good listen and calm both mother and baby down. I listen to them before going to sleep and find them very relaxing.
