Baby Bibs

How cool are these? Saw them in a magazine and they caught my eye since I personally like scarfs.

Skibz Dribble Bibs look like a scarf but act like a bib.

These double-layer cotton bibs have adjustable studs and are perfect for dribbling babies. They are comfotable and easy to wash plus they are very stylish!

They come in 26 patterns and colours so there are plenty to go with every outfit. I particularly like the cow print one. Amazon have a matching soother! All we need now is the cowboy hat. :)

Cot Mobiles

Monday, 11 May 2009 11:41 by Mari

I was chatting to my friend Sindy the other day and she came across a lovely cot mobile which she thought I'd like.

It's the Tomy Winnie the Pooh Light Up Cot Mobile. I really liked this but I had a look around to see what else I could find before buying the first one that comes across.

I saw East Coast Sweet Island Dreams Mobile on Amazon. This includes a remote control too.

John Lewis have this cheap but cute version the Jingle Jungle Mobile. It has very nice colours but with only one tune of "A Wonderful World". The good thing about this mobile is that it comes in pastel colours which helps the baby to calm down. Bright colours stimulate the baby and that's the last thing we want when putting him/her to sleep!

I still preferred the Tomy Winnie the Pooh one. So, I sent a quick email to my husband attaching a picture of the mobile and as soon as he said he likes it I ordered it :)

It arrived a few days ago and after a trip to the super market to buy 4 C batteries (had forgotten about this batteries - haven't used them since my childhood!) we assembled the thing and got it to work. The characters are so nice, you have 3 songs from Winnie the Pooh and a night light. You can make the characters go round or stay still. And, the characters are detachable for when the baby grows older and can play with them.

This cot mobile is very good value for money and the only thing missing from it is the light projection but the baby wouldn't be able to focus on large distances in the beginning anyway.

I think I might attach it to my bed MAYBE I start having a full night sleep until the baby arrives.... maybe not :)
