I gave up on hearing Euan scream and one evening last week, I gave him a bottle of formula. He gulped it down and stopped crying. It was like magic and I felt so guilty and relieved at the same time. Guilty because I should have realized before that he's screaming "Mamma I'm hungry!!!" and relieved that from now on our evenings will be less noisy! It was honestly doing my head in.

I have persisted with breastfeeding him during the day and at night. Sometimes he cries and he doesn't want to feed from the breast but I keep trying until he gives up.

With this he has gained alot of weight and he's now weighing 5.7kg which is pretty amazing - 0.5kg in 2 weeks!

He has grown mentally as well. He can now grab his toys and play with them. When we go out for a walk (nearly every day) he is more aware of what's going on around him. I had to scrap all his 0-3 month old clothes and got him new ones. It was a good excuse for a shopping spree (or multiple shopping sprees).

The best thing that he's done this week, though, is his laugh. He laughs like a baby and will never forget the first time he did it! He laughed so much he got hiccups and I laughed so much I had tears rolling down my face.

The Baby

This all started 5 months ago when we got a positive pregnancy test. Well, actually it started 6 months ago but that's when we got to know.

Hubby over the moon, me dazed but not confused :) To be honest I was expecting it to happen.

Well from then on, the baby has grown and last week we got to know it's a HE just like I thought (no, really, I said it before that I had a strong feeling it's going to be a boy!!)
