Last week E had his first Christmas party at the gym creche. He really enjoyed it and seemed to be having a blast when I walked in to get him.
He is terrified of Father Christmas though. He hung on to one of the carers and wouldn't let go squeezing his eyes shut so that he doesn't see the old man! Same thing happened a few days earlier. We went to Kew Gardens to see Father Christmas, he was so excited waiting to go in and asking what he's doing and then when we got in he was dragging me out and hiding behind me. It's so funny at the same time!
Hope he gets over it by next Christmas :)
I wish all our readers a very Happy Christmas! Hope you have a lovely time with family and friends at this time of the year.

Since I last updated this blog we moved into a bigger flat in the same area. It's so nice to have some more space even though I'm feeling like I'm clearing things up all the time, E keeps on bringing out more toys into the living room and in his bedroom.
It was very hard work moving house with a toddler. We've moved a couple of times before but this was the first time we moved since E was born and it was definitely harder. Luckily my parents were here to help. Mum used to babysit and spend days with E taking him to playgroups and taking him out for walks while I would work in the new flat and pack boxes. I missed him so much though.
E didn't like the new flat initially and he used to scream and get angry whenever we bring him here even though he loved the garden. We were worried it might take him a while to settle in. However when we brought our stuff and boxes in he started to like it. We made his room very special as we painted hills on his bedroom walls where we put up wall stickers. I got him a small Christmas tree for his room and we decorated it. Now he spends a lot of time playing there and reading his books. We're very glad he likes it.

Have a look at www.cuddlebundles.com. They make these cute bouquets made out of baby clothes. A really nice and cool gift for a newborn!
The website is still under construction and it redirects you to their facebook page but you can find all the details there. You can either buy a ready made one for 28 Euro or else they can custom-make one for you to any budget you'd like. They usually use clothing such as vests, babygrows, bibs, socks and the like, usually 3-6 months or 6-9months.
If you can let Angie know what you're after exactly she will send you images appropriately. Angie is the one who makes all the bouquets and deals with the orders herself - she's a sweet girl that makes sure you get exactly what you want and more. I asked her to write a message with the bouquet and she did that free of charge on a nice little card. She also delivered the bouquet herself and was very prompt with the order! She usually delivers free of charge in Malta and can send bouquets to Europe at an extra charge.
I highly recommend Cuddle Bundles for their orginal products and customer service! Totally impressed with the service.

This is not an advert! :)
We've been trying a new playgroup at a new children's centre. It's not just a playgroup, they have a different activity every week - like last week they had drawing shapes with markers and this week it was painting with poster paint. It's good as the kids can try it without getting the house all messy. E didn't try the paints as he didn't want to put on his overall. He prefers to play in the outside area and it was good by me since it was a fine day. They have a little shed with a window and a door which E likes very much. They also have all kinds of cars, tricycles and other little vehicles and he tries each and every one of them!
Seems like we're getting a little bit more of summer now. We're loving the weather and like to go for a walk with E in the afternoon. He can walk quite a long way now.
